Seed - Trajan only uses the best seed available. We exclusively use Pennington seed for our turf grasses and Ernst seeds for our natives and wildflowers. Any type of seed can be hydroseeded.
Lime - North Carolina soils need lime. We mix Profile Products NeutraLime right in the tank. This product increases soil ph very rapidly.
Fertilizer - We use a high-phosphorous, granular starter fertilizer to give your new lawn the best start. Our fertilizer is one step to developing a healthy root system.
Biostimulants - Trajan uses Profile Product’s BioPrime and Jumpstart to address the problems of sporadic germination and long-term plant survivability. First, Jumpstart has five active ingredients work together to promote faster, more complete germination and long-term plant health. BioPrime is designed to address issues affecting long-term plant vitality. Its four active ingredients include slow-release nitrogen, seaweed extract, humic acid and Endo Mycorrhizae. These ingredients continually feed nitrogen to plants for an extended period, optimize the efficient and effective delivery of macro and micronutrients to plants, significantly decrease soil compaction and soil surface evaporation, increase root mass, top growth and cell structure and reduce plant stress.
Hydromulch - Our quality hydromulch is a completely biodegradable, weed free solution that is at the heart of Trajan’s hydroseeding work. Our mulch has the benefit of holding 13.5 times its weight in water so you have to water less. When our hydromulch is mixed with a tackifier it will hold the soil of any slopes in your yard in place. As your new lawn grows in, the mulch disappears!
